The TCA (Tricholoracetic Acid) peel is available in 10%, 20% and 30% strengths with pH levels ranging from 0.7 to 0.9. It is generally the most aggressive type of peel offering deep penetration for more significant skin issues such as deep wrinkles, stubborn hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and acne scarring. Mild to significant downtime, depending on the strength that is used, followed by dramatic results after each treatment.
Deep skin rejuvenation for clients requiring a deeper peel treatment. Also perfect for body treatments such as hands, arms, and chest.
• All Skin Types
The TCA peel should be applied by experienced professionals only. The solution is applied to the skin until a smooth application is achieved. The face may be uncomfortable initially, and mild swelling may occur. Can be layered for deeper penetration but only one layer should be applied during initial treatment. To layer the peel you should apply the peel solution, wait 2 minutes, and then apply the solution again. May use a fan to cool skin. Leave on skin according to patients tolerance - not more than 5-10 minutes for all skin types. On initial application leave on for minimal time and observe reaction. For optimal results, TCA peels should be performed in a series of 2-3 treatments 3-4 weeks apart.
Significant improvement in texture, tone, and elasticity.
